A Final Farewell at Rockingham (1783):


In November 1783, after the signing of the peace treaty, Washington wrote his farewell orders to his troops at the Rockingham house, located in Kingstown/Kingston. He gave thanks and praise to his troops and announced his retirement in his orders.
